SEMI-ANNUAL PAPER SHREDDING EVENT to be held on Earth Day

BENEFITING SENIOR SERVICES of the CHATHAMS

Sponsored by:
Smartly Organized, Janet McKeown of Keller Williams Realty,
Chatham Hills Subacute Care Center and Chatham Disposal
Chatham, NJ

De-clutter and dispose of your unwanted paper and documents safely and securely at a spring Community Shred fundraiser to be held on Earth Day — Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Chatham Train Station parking lot in Chatham Borough. All proceeds will benefit Senior Services of the Chathams. The service is open to the public and participants do not need to be residents of Chatham.

“We are celebrating Earth Day by providing this Community Shred service, an environmentally friendly way to purge personal documents in a confidential way. Privacy and identity theft are growing concerns these days, and most identity theft is obtained through hard copy sources. Paper shredding and document destruction can help reduce that risk.” says Pam Mansfield, Executive Director of Senior Services of the Chathams.

Residents from Chatham and other surrounding towns are invited to participate, with a suggested donation of $10 per small/medium cardboard box and $5 per brown paper grocery bag. Paper clips and staples do not need to be removed. Newspapers, magazines and paperback books will be accepted in addition to paper documents.

Thanks to generous sponsorship of this event by local business partners — Chatham Disposal, Chatham Hills Subacute Care Center, Janet McKeown – MBA Realtor of Keller William Realty, and Smartly Organized, LLC — all monies raised from the event will go toward funding programs at the Senior Center.
