Tina graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and University of Miami with a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy. She has over fifteen years of experience in physical therapy covering acute, outpatient, subacute and assisted living environments. She has lived in Chatham for over ten years and started with Chatham Hills Subacute Care Center in 2013. “The rehabilitation department team currently includes twelve treating therapists (PT/OT/ST) and a rehabilitation technician. Our therapists have extensive clinical experience and expertise covering varying diagnoses, including but not limited to amputee, stroke, cardiopulmonary and joint replacement rehabilitation. Recently, our rehabilitation department has begun partnering with nursing to facilitate wound healing through the use of ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and short wave diathermy. Our team takes pride in helping residents achieve their maximum potential and assures carryover through restorative programs and resident and family training. The department offers all new equipment , highlights including hydraulic parallel bars, hydraulic treatment mat and table, a lite gait system, pulley system, short wave diathermy, wheelchairs, and top of the line cushions.”
